Thank You for visiting my Web Site! I hope that you enjoy the artwork made by either myself or my sister Carrie!

You will be able to order any of the following art pieces on commision from either of us, all artwork is Hand Sewn and made by Alaska Native Artist, we are Tlingit from Hoonah Alaska, a small native village about 30 miles southwest of Juneau.

My name is George Carteeti, I am Tlingit from the village of Hoonah Alaska, the largest village of the Tlingit people, my Tlingit name is Stu Woo Kaa. My sister Carrie, also a traditional native artists Tlingit name is Yeith Gaa Goo Geth, our mother is Ruth Lindoff, Ste ado. Our linage comes from the village of Klukwan, 90 miles North West of Hoonah. The Brown Bear House (Xoots Xit) is our clan emblem.

We were taught the traditional arts from our Mother who in turned learned from her Mother, our Maternal Grandmother Annie Hotch of Klukwan.

When making our traditional robes we hand sew each robe taking approximately 2 weeks to complete customized robes. We use a wool-blended felt and Mother of Peral buttons for our robes and cover the heading with fur and leather lacing for the ties. Our robes are on commision, the average price we charge is $750.00 USD depending on the material used and includes shipping and insurance for our products. We have various peices on hand already made but will gladly custom make our Wool Robes with any applique you may desire.

We also specialize in custome made moccasins made either from Moose hide or deer, laced with beaver fur, or if you'd preffer, faux fur, some substitutions can cost more rather then lower the price, please email me for a quote.

The following picture is of a Tlingit Dance Robe I made for my sister Carrie when she graduated from High School in 2000, she is the first of the girls in our family to graduate from High School, we are VERY Proud of her!
